What fantastic evenings we have enjoyed at the Flynns' and the Mahers' homes! Thanks for all the hard work of all involved!
Our NEXT DISCUSSION will be on Friday, February 15th. The Krays have invited us to their house for the next one. Their address is: 4572 Merrick Dr., Dryden, MI, 48428. (Click here for a Google Map). The Betts will host us in March, but notice: we'll meet not on the third, but the SECOND Friday (the third is Good Friday), namely, March 14.
Some of our last questions were:
- My mom said something bad that my uncle did and my dad got mad because he said that it hurt my uncle's good mane. But my mom says that my uncle hurt his own good name by doing it. Who is right? (My mom says we should live by the truth.)
- What is a good argument against embryonic stem cell research?
- What do you consider to be immodest clothing?
- Why do we call the Roman Catholic Church the ROMAN Catholic Church?
- I have heard that Anneliese Michel (the real life Emily Rose) is being considered for canonization. Is this true?
- What is the staff that bishops carry called?
- Why is St. Elizabeth not considered Immaculately Conceived?
- Is eavesdropping ever morally justified?
- Do you think that it is flirting to wear too much makeup? (Eye liner, heavy eyeshadow, etc.)
- I read in history that the Anglican priests in England are invalid. But my dad said he knew an Anglican priest who was married and was accepted into the Church as a valid priest because he was already consecrated by an Anglican bishop. If they are in schism, how can he be a valid Anglican priest?
- Licetne Missam Tridentinam per Triduum Paschali celebrare? Memini legendum de hoc, sed non scio num hoc verum sit? (sic)
