Jan 16, Friday, at the Betts' house

When snow tried to stop us on the 19th, we still managed to have our December meeting. A special thanks to the Krays for accommodating our recuperative session the Tuesday after Christmas!

Our questions were:

1. Why is it that people leave the true Church?

2. How does God allow people to be homosexual? Isn’t that predestining them for sin? You would think that God would give everybody the same starting ground. It doesn’t seem very just.

3. Is it okay to shop on Holy Days of Obligation for unnecessary reasons?

4. We know that we receive the Holy Spirit at baptism. Since we have God’s life in us, why would Jesus want us to consume Him in the form of bread?

5. How do you make a good confession?

6. Will my Baptist friend go to heaven?

There were a good number of questions we didn’t get to. We also, you’ll remember, discussed the first quarter of Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, and I plan on viewing the rest over three more Areopagus sessions.

Bring your thinking caps to the Betts’ home on January 16, at 7pm: 4782 McMillan Ct., Rochester, MI 48306.
